We are a passionate team that founded this platform in June 2023 to share our love for all things S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Our mission is to inspire and empower individuals of all ages to embrace the wonders of S.T.E.A.M and incorporate it into their daily lives.
At the heart of this initiative is our founder, a dedicated and knowledgeable mother with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from U.A.F. With her extensive background in the field, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our platform. Her journey into the world of S.T.E.A,M began at an early age, igniting a lifelong passion that continues to drive our work today. She is also a U.S. Army Veteran who served on Active Duty from 2006-2010 as a 68R, Medical Food Inspection Specialist.
Through engaging content, insightful resources, and interactive experiences, we aim to foster a S.T.E.A.M-rich environment that nurtures curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity. our story
In October 2020, Raelyn embarked on her entrepreneurial path by starting her first business in WordPress website development, brand, and graphic design. However, her unwavering thirst to pursue her deep-rooted passion for S.T.E.A.M drove her to establish the groundbreaking venture known as My S.T.E.A.M Lifestyle.
As her daughter grew older, Raelyn faced a challenge – the difficulty of finding unique S.T.E.A.M-related kids’ apparel without having to scour numerous websites. This realization fueled her determination to provide a solution.
Raelyn’s passion for S.T.E.A.M has been a constant throughout her life. Her journey began with her first job as a veterinary assistant in high school, followed by a deep involvement in farming, livestock management, breeding, and crop production.
Her pursuit of knowledge led her to join the Army at 18, igniting her love for travel. Over the years, she has held various positions in the vast realm of S.T.E.A.M. She has served as a 68R, Medical Food Inspection Specialist in the Army, a Consumer Safety Inspector and Food Inspector for the USDA FSIS, a Field Plant Ecologist for the USDA NRCS SSD in Alaska, and a veterinary technician at several high-paced, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospitals.
She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Raelyn also has a desire to pursue a Master’s in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
With her wealth of experience and unyielding passion for S.T.E.A.M, Raelyn is now dedicated to revolutionizing the availability of unique S.T.E.A.M-related apparel and products. Her vision is to create a centralized hub where individuals can easily access a wide range of S.T.E.A.M-inspired merchandise.
